Joining a studio is a relationship, not a purchase, and ten minutes of good questions saves months of regret. Here are the seven we would ask before joining any EMS studio in 2026, including ours, and the answers you should expect to hear.

1. Who coaches, and what are their credentials?
The coach decides your results. Ask directly who runs sessions, what they are certified in, and whether the same coaches stay long-term. High turnover or vague answers are warnings.
2. How do you prove progress?
Serious studios measure. Ask to see how results are tracked, at Speciale it is regular Fit3D body scans showing muscle, fat and measurements. "You will feel it" is not a measurement system.
3. How do sessions adapt to me?
Injuries, low-energy days, specific goals, ask how each changes your session. The answer should involve real-time adjustment by a present coach, not a fixed routine everyone does.
4. What happens when life happens?
Vacations, injuries, busy months: ask about pause policies and what happens to unused sessions before you sign anything. Fair policies are written down and explained without squirming.
5, 6 and 7: equipment, hygiene, and the exit
Ask how old the suits are and how they are cleaned between clients. And ask plainly how you would cancel if it stops working for you. A studio confident in its product answers the exit question comfortably, because it does not plan to trap you into staying.

Who coaches and their credentials, how progress is measured, how sessions adapt to you, pause and cancellation policies, and how equipment is maintained and cleaned.
What is a bad sign in the answers?
Vagueness about certifications, no measurement system, one-size-fits-all sessions, and discomfort discussing pausing or cancelling.
