EMS at Speciale Fitness on Jane Street gives you an intense full-body workout in 20 minutes, and what you eat around it decides how much of that work turns into results. The rules are simple, no supplements or complicated meal plans needed. Here is what our Vaughan coaches tell every member in 2026.

Before: light and early
Eat a light, normal meal about two hours before, eggs and toast, a chicken wrap, oatmeal with fruit. Not heavy, and not nothing.
Hydrate more than you think
EMS works best in a well-hydrated body. Drink water through the day, have a glass before your session at Jane Street and keep a bottle with you after.
After: protein within the hour
Aim for a protein-rich meal within an hour of finishing, chicken, fish, eggs, Greek yogurt or a shake on the drive home to Maple or Woodbridge. It is the single highest-value nutrition habit for EMS results.
What to skip
Heavy, greasy food right before, alcohol right after, and the trap of "rewarding" the session with a 1,000-calorie treat. You do not need to eat perfectly, just not cancel out the work.
