Trying something new can feel intimidating, but it really should not. Your first session at Speciale Fitness is completely free, fully guided, and far more relaxed than you might expect. Here is precisely what happens at our the GTA studios, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, so you know exactly what you are signing up for. Spoiler: most people leave wishing they had come sooner.

A warm welcome

When you arrive, a coach greets you and gives you a quick tour. You will chat for a few minutes about your goals, your history and anything you are working around, sore knees, a busy schedule, a fitness comeback after years away. There is genuinely no judgment here, just a friendly conversation so your coach can tailor the session to you.

A quick health check

Before anything else, your coach runs through a short health questionnaire. It only takes a minute, and it is how we make sure EMS is a good fit for you and exactly how we should scale your first session. Safety is built into the very start, not bolted on afterwards, so you can relax knowing you are in careful hands.

Suiting up

Your coach helps you into the EMS suit and makes sure it fits snugly over the base layer. The suit is lightly dampened so the signal travels well, and the whole thing takes just a couple of minutes while your coach walks you through every strap. It feels snug and supportive, a bit like a high-tech wetsuit, and your coach handles all the setup.

The workout

You start gently. Your coach slowly turns up the intensity, always checking in, so you stay in full control the entire time. You will move through simple, guided exercises while the suit fires along with you, working far more of your muscle than you could on your own.

Twenty minutes later, you are done. Most people are genuinely surprised by how quick it feels and how much they felt their muscles working, that distinctive, satisfying buzz that tells you it is doing something.

Your baseline body scan

To make your progress measurable from day one, we set up a starting point with Fit3D body scans that capture your fat, muscle and posture. That baseline is what lets you see real change in the weeks ahead, instead of guessing in the mirror. It is one of the things members tell us keeps them coming back.

What to bring

Just yourself and comfortable clothes, we provide everything else, including the suit and the base layer. Come a little hydrated, and avoid a huge meal right beforehand. That is genuinely all the prep you need, no special gear, no experience required.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first session really free?

Yes, completely free with no commitment and nothing to buy. It is a real, full session so you can decide for yourself whether EMS is right for you.

What should I wear and bring to my first EMS session?

Just comfortable clothes and yourself. We provide the EMS suit and base layer. Come a little hydrated and avoid a large meal right before.

Do I need any fitness experience?

None at all. Your coach scales everything to your level and guides you through every movement, so it suits complete beginners and people returning after years away.

How long does the first visit take?

The workout itself is 20 minutes. With the welcome chat, health check and suiting up, plan for around 45 minutes for your first visit.

What does EMS feel like the first time?

Like a strong tingle or buzz that builds with each rep, never a shock. Your coach controls the intensity and only increases it as you get comfortable, so you are always in control.
